A 14-day virtual programme has been launched by the AIM (Atal Innovation Mission) and Sirius, Russia, AIM - Sirius Innovation Programme 3.0, for Russian and Indian school children. The objective of the programme is to develop technological solutions, web and mobile-based, for both the countries.



The program is scheduled for a two-week duration, from Nov 07 to Nov 21, 2020. In the program, 16 mentors and educators and 48 students will create 08 mobile applications and virtual products addressing the issues faced globally following the COVID-19 pandemic among other global issues such as distance education, sports, fitness, culture, applied cognitive science, etc.. These innovations developed by the team will be supporting technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, App Development, Machine Learning, Blockchain, Virtual Reality, etc.



R Ramanan, AIM Mission Director, while launching, said, "I am proud to share that this year's programme will foster collaboration and innovations in science, technology and design projects. This is the first virtual bilateral student collaboration between India and Russia and shows an immense commitment by both the ATAL tinkering labs and Sirius teams. We, at AIM, are elated to be a part of this journey".
