The Assam government will set up a 40-part panel to start the usage of the Centre's New Education Policy (NEP) in the express, a priest said on Saturday. The new approach was endorsed by the Union Cabinet on July 29.



The board, headed by the Training Division's Secretary, will be set up by one week from now.



"The execution of NEP will require certain auxiliary changes and the committee will move in the direction of guaranteeing smooth progress," Sarma said. "The Assam government invites the new strategy, which is a notable advance as it will achieve the incorporation of various streams, workmanship, culture and dialects, especially the provincial dialects," the priest said.



"The advisory group will present its report by December 31 and by January we need to set up the outline for execution in the state," Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma told in a question and answer session here. The board will be isolated into a few gatherings to consider and examine the different features of the new arrangement, he said.



It is an extremely liberal arrangement with training being granted in the native language or local language till Class 5, universalization of instruction till Class 12, understudies getting the opportunity to seek after between disciplinary subjects in school, weight on professional examinations, among others, he said.
