Amarinder Singh, Chief Minister of Punjab, has launched the mission 'Mission Shat Parishat" for the 2020-21 session which aims to attain 100 percent results even during the COVID situation.



The Chief Minister launched the initiative at the virtual event which was attended by the students, teachers, and parents from 4,000 schools and above, officials, MLAs, and Non-teaching staff among others. The CM also announced the recruitment drive for 8,393 pre-primary school teachers' posts and assured that the Education Department would soon be working towards filling these posts.



The aim of the initiative is to reinforce the digital education framework in schools through eBooks, online classes, e-content, EDUSAT lectures, lectures broadcasting through television and video lectures designed by teachers, despite the COVID-19 situation directing towards educational challenges.



The initiative will also uplift the government schools' standards that have witnessed the massive up-gradation in the performance and quality of the education in the last 03 years in compliance with the state govt.'s decision to constraint negligence in board exams, as notified by the CM.
