The MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) entered into by the ICSI and ICoAI has been granted ex-post facto approval by the Union Cabinet.

The approval has been granted to the MoUs entered into by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Cost Accountants of India with various foreign organizations and countries.

These foreign organizations include Institute of Public Accountants, Australia; Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Sri Lanka; Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK; and Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, UK.

The various memos follow the facilitation of mutual recognition of qualifications and an assortment of collaborative activities for the exchange of technical cooperation, knowledge and experience sharing by participating in training programmes, annual conferences, and joint research projects.
