The CMAD (Certificate Program in Mobile Application Development) has been launched by the Indira Gandhi National Open University by SOCIS (School of Computer and Information Sciences) through ODL (Open and Distance Learning) mode. The desirous candidates can apply for the programme in online mode at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The total duration of the course is 06-months and the candidates who have qualified class 10 with 2 or 3 year diploma year or class 12 are eligible to apply for the programme. The course fee is Rs. 5200.

The course has 05 programmes with each course having 02 components i.e. Assignments and TEE (Term End Examinations) which will be conducted separately for Theory and Practical exam. The candidates will not be provided with any printed course material and they will have to acquire these materials online from egyankosh.ac.in.

One computer will be shared by two students during the session of practical counselling and these sessions will be conducted at designated LSCs (Learner Support Centers). The syllabus includes the introduction to Mobile Architecture, Databases and Android, Python Programming, and their practical courses.
