Equal Educational Opportunities For Self-Reliant India

For Self-reliant India, equal opportunities for education are necessary because it is one of the essential factors to bring social & economic prosperity.

Today, we are going to discuss the very important aspect of education. Though, we can't neglect this very fact that situations are changing rapidly in the sphere of education. But to bring these changes government, media, press, and entertainment industry works hard and creates awareness regarding the importance of education. You can take the example from Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, where Amcho Bastar's local radio channel is very famous because it runs under the sole initiative of Padhai Tuhar Dwar. The residents of Bastar districts are great fans of this channel. One of the main goals of Amcho Bastar is to provide college study modules to young college students within the village.

Educational Institutions are not only a source of academic learning for children but are also important for their cognitive and social development. The global pandemic coronavirus severely disrupted the education system, especially in rural India. Although lessons in schools and teachers began to spread on the internet, they were not easily accessible in many ambitious remote areas in India. Despite the limited internet possibilities and digital tools, with the help of schools, teachers, and parents, the board showed great resilience and embraced unique innovations to ensure the continuity of lessons for students.

In another successful initiative with the Padhai Tuhar Dwar, the Chhattisgarh district, which has a population of Rajhnandgaon, organized mullah classes for students in remote areas with poor internet connections. Following a comprehensive safety protocol, Mohalla lessons are given in villages close to the homes of young students. Through the joint efforts of teachers and the district council, the Mohali course concept ensures that students who do not have access to online courses can continue to attend classes.

The impact of Padhai Tuhar Dewar is taken place even hundreds of kilometers from Rajnandgaon on the ambitious Baramulla districts of Jammu and Kashmir, which after influencing, led similar initiatives. Outdoor community courses run by volunteers based on social distancing standards have been held in the town in various shifts for as many students as possible. The initiative reached more than 30,000 students in the district, supported by the Panchayati Raj institution and several teachers who volunteered to lead the class. This has strengthened the administration's efforts to provide continuing education.

With 16 ambitious districts and rural tribal populations that make up nearly 26% of the total population, in the state of Jarkhand, various school districts have made a complimentary effort to ensure continuity of education for students. In the Gumla District, the school district administration has made it easy to deliver textbooks and other learning materials to your home.

A wonderful and encouraging example of how adversity can turn into opportunities emerged in the ambitious Dumka district. At Dumarthar Village, teachers helped paint chalkboards on the exterior walls of students' homes. Every morning, the principal of the local school takes classes with portable speakers, and students take notes on their personal bulletin boards.

Despite development hurdles, especially with regards to digital connectivity, Jharkhand State has worked together to overcome these limitations. Ramgarh Ambitious District Department of Education has introduced Lockdown E-Pathshala. This platform not only teaches teachers a new standard of digital textbooks but also distributes textbooks to students through the YouTube channel. The Lockdown E-Pathshala initiative will also be broadcast on local television channels to reach more students. Both approaches are aimed at building the capacity of existing teachers and educators and ensuring class consistency at the elementary level. The Ramgarh County Council is also in the process of building an affordable studio infrastructure to record noise-free digital content for students.
