The Bengaluru-based Freethinking School has launched the campaign "Freedom from Fee" to make education free. The campaign will run till March 2021. Under this campaign, the parents will have the option to pay the fee as per their convenience.

The campaign has been launched to commemorate the birth anniversary (150th birth anniversary) of Maria Montessori and Independence Day. The school follows the Montessori system. There is also a provision under this campaign to 'Pay it Forward' for the people who wish to pay for the children of their drivers or other employees.

As per the statement issued by the Director of the school, the program is free for Asha Workers, Nurses, and other frontline warriors for their services. "It was my dream to take Montessori to the masses," he said.

He also added, " My vision was always to make education accessible, reachable, and affordable and this helps me achieve that".
