For the AISSEE (All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination) 2020, the authorities, for the first time, have allowed girls to take part in the examination for admission into Class 06 to a Sainik School for the 2021-22 academic session.

All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 10 for all students including girls whereas the entrance exam for admission into Class 9 is scheduled to be conducted on the same day but for boys students only.

According to the official statement of Kunjpura, Karnal's Principal of Sainik School Col. V D Chandola, the NTA (National Testing Agency) will be conducting the entrance exam across 33 Sainik Schools in the country for admissions. The release also mentioned that the online application procedure has begun for admissions into Class 6 for boys and girls and into Class 9 for boys only in Kunjpura Sainik School.

The last date to submit the application is Nov 19, 2020. The examination will be held in bi-lingual medium i.e. Hindi and English languages for Class 06 and in English medium only for Class 09.
