The SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) has been issued by the Goa government for partial re-opening of schools across the state for Class 10 and Class 12.

As per the issued guidelines, the odd-even formula must be followed for classes and there must not be more than 12 students in each class. The guidelines also mentioned that social distancing with a minimum distance of 06 feet must be followed by students in the classroom and at all times.

In laboratories/ workshops, the proper sanitization must be followed for skill-based training while using training equipment. The stock of personal protection articles such as hand sanitizers, visors, masks/ face covers, etc. must be full and accessible by the school employees, teachers, and management, whenever needed.

The MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs), in their last month's decision, allowed UT/ State Governments to decide regarding the issue of re-opening of schools/ coaching institutes after 15 October in a phased manner.
