The IT body HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) has announced the launching of the HYSEA's Women Leaders' Forum. The aim of the initiative is to encourage leadership of women in the Information Technology sector.
The Forum will consist of leaders to provide mentorship to upcoming and young women leaders in the ITeS/ IT sector. The Forum will also work as a networking platform.
The Forum will also work towards initiatives, developing programs and identifying the challenges for the women leaders.
Centre Director of GSC Hyderabad, Kolkata, Vizag and Chennai, HSBC Mamatha Madireddy will head the forum. To have the most balanced and inclusive workforce, the gender gap must be eliminated which is a constant journey, she said.
Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, while launching the initiative, also felt grateful and said, "It would give me immense satisfaction to see accomplished women leaders coming on to a platform to nurture and metor young and upcoming women leaders".
