The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi's Center for Artificial Intelligence (CAI) and the Artificial Intelligence Institute of the University of South Carolina (AIISC) have signed a memorandum of understanding. Both the institutes have signed this MoU to promote academic cooperation and research collaboration, with an international focus among faculty members and students, for mutual benefit.

Through this collaboration, the process of sharing the co-advised thesis or participation on the dissertation committee for students and PhD candidates will be facilitated. This association will also facilitate the interchange of research materials, scholarly papers, and other information in areas of interest of both parties.

This collaboration will also provide an opportunity to the students of IIIT Delhi to earn an internship at AIISC. The students will also be granted the opportunity to participate in collaborative activities and research.

In the future, both the institutions can also develop specific joint educational programmes and enjoy the benefits of interchange of teaching, technical personnel, and research.
