The Indian Institute of Management, Sirmaur organized a five-day FDP (Faculty Development Program). The Program was organized on 'Data Analytics For Research'.

The Program was sponsored by the ATAL (AICTE Training and Learning) Academy. Due to the prevalent COVID pandemic, the Program was hosted virtually by IIM Sirmaur through a virtual teaching learning platform.

The Faculty Development Program was jointly inaugurated by the ATAL Academy (AICTE) along with 53 other FDPs. These all programs started on the same day.

This customised program was open for faculty members, research students, school teachers, and industry professionals who were interested in utilizing data analysis for their research, teaching, and job purposes.

Prof Pradipta Patra from Faculty Decision Sciences of IIM Sirmaur and Prof Vikas Kumar from Faculty Marketing Management of IIM Sirmaur were the main consultants for conducting the sessions.

On the final day of the Program, a session dedicated to stress management, well-being, happiness, and mental health improvement was also planned.

The participants will be awarded the FDP participation certificate for which they attempted an online test to receive the certificate.
