An Indian Institute of Technology - Banaras Hindu University's student has developed the first AI-based YOGA platform. The platform has been developed through MPYG (Multiplayer Yoga Gameplay) to teach the right manner to practice yoga.

Vidyabhushan, a 3rd-year student of Chemical Engineering dept., has developed this platform under the mentorship and funding of CISCO Thingcubator, NASSCOM Foundation, and BHU's Incubation Centre's technical support.

MPYG, an innovation in the YOGA field, is an AR (Augmented Reality) and AI (Artificial Intelligence) based community yoga platform which has been designed to teach the right manner to practice yoga, informed Vidyabhushan.

With the help of the auto detection system, the MPYG can detect the incorrect posture and can also advise to correct it through audio-video assistance.

The interested ones can access the platform at mpyg.in.

Ramana Vemuri, NASSCOM Foundation's head, congratulated the student over her achievement and assured her of help in the future.
