A cyber security education programme has been prepared by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the schools. The Ministry has prepared the programme for the students of Class 06 and above.

Under the programme, the Ministry also announced to observe 'Cyber Jagrookta Diwas' on the 1st Wednesday of every month.

Furthermore, the cyber awareness handles have also been launched by the Ministry on social media such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram.

The Pune's Euro School has also started the initiative 'Being a Cyber Smart Child' for the students. The Principal of the School Renuka Dutta said that it is the demand of the current environment to educate students about the usage of online platforms.

Due to the COVID, students belonging to all age groups are using mobiles, computers, and laptops for their online classes on a daily basis, so, it has become a necessity to educate and train them in cyber security. The aim of the initiative is to create awareness and educate students as well as parents about safe cyber behaviour.

In Delhi, some schools have also included cyber security as part of the Information and Communication Technology curriculum for primary and middle classes to teach them about cyber-ethics and crimes, among other things.
