The Ministry of Education has informed that there will be no change in the NEET UG (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate) 2021. The students who are appearing in the NEET exam have been demanding to reschedule it due to the various back-to-back exams including CBSE exams.

The Ministry officials have informed that any change in the NEET exam date will delay it further for 60 to 70 days due to the logical concerns which could also result in indefinite delay.

The NEET UG 2021 is scheduled to be held on Sept 12, 2021. Around 16.1 lakh students have registered for the medical entrance exam.

The students are demanding the rescheduling of the exam as various exams have been scheduled in the 1st week of October month only and there is no gap between these exams. Some of the exam dates are mentioned below:

Some students have also started the Twitter trend with #PostponeNEET and #DelayNEETUG, demanding the rescheduling of the exam as they need more time to prepare according to the latest pattern.

Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held on Aug 01, but got postponed due to the spike in COVID cases.

The NTA has also informed the candidates their exam centre and city details. The admit card will soon be released by the Agency.
