The government of Rajasthan has announced that it would fund students in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota in private schools till Class 12. According to the reports, Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan Chief Minister, has said that students in the 25% EWS quota in Private Schools would receive free education till standard XII under the Right to Education Act.

Apart from this, the government has also announced free training for 30,000 students.

The Rajasthan government would support around 30,000 students by giving them free classes to prepare for entrance exams such as JEE Main, NEET, JEE Advanced, and more under the Anuprati Coaching Scheme.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also said that a transit hotel is being built for the students preparing for their competitive exams in Delhi.

Apart from delivering free education to EWS quota students, the state government has also declared a scholarship for research students under which they would receive a total of Rs 20,000 per month.

The Rajasthan Government also shared that about 30,000 scooters have been distributed to female students.

The CM also shared that a budget of Rs 50 crore has been allocated for developing different facilities and departments at Rajasthan University. Also, the state government has added a condition that will offer free education abroad for 500 students in the state under the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship for academic excellence.
