The Rajasthan Education Department has constituted a committee to draft an assessment policy. On the basis of the committee's report, the education department will consider previous year marks to evaluate the students.

The RBSE will follow the same pattern as CBSE, as per the report.

To evaluate the class 10 students, a ratio of 45:25:10:20 will be followed. It means that 45% marks obtained by the students in Class 8, 25% in Class 9, 10% in Class 10 , and 20% marks of the internal assessment will be considered.

For Class 12, 40:20:20:20 will be followed i.e. 40% marks from Class 10, 20% from Class 11, 20% from Class 12, and 20% marks of the internal assessment will be given weightage.

The committee which will assess the students' performance will include school head, class teacher and subject teacher. The assessment of the students will be made on the basis of their performance throughout the session and their participation in various digital innovations of the current session like Aao Ghar Mein Sekhein, Smile-1, Smile-2, and classroom teaching.

The Board will also provide an opportunity to the students who are not satisfied with their marks. An optional exam will be conducted for which the students will be able register online. In that case, the marks obtained in the optional exam will be considered final.

The Board has also announced to declare the results of Class 10 and Class 12 within 45 days.
