Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog has launched the 3rd series of the 'Student Entrepreneurship Program or SEP 3.0 in collaboration with La Fondation Dassault Systemes (Dassault Systemes Foundation) in India for the young innovators of ATL (Atal Tinkering Labs).
The theme of SEP 3.0 was conceptualized and rolled out in France by La Fondation Dassault Systemes Europe and La Main à la Pate Foundation in 2017 and is based on the 'Made in 3D - Seed the Future Entrepreneurs Program'.
Under the program, a team of 6 students and a teacher from each school will be assigned seed funding towards developing pseudo start-up, design and prototype their innovation utilizing 3D printing, formulate marketing campaigns, determine product pricing and constitute expansion strategy to provide them a real feel of 'How a startup works!'.
At the program's end, each school with their pseudo startup will take part in this playful competition and will get to show their marketing campaign in front of industry and academia experts.
Under the program SEP 3.0, the student will get the chance to work jointly with Dassault Systemes Foundation volunteers and will gain - Mentoring support, End-User feedback, Prototyping and testing guidance, and Intellectual Property Rights guidance.
This program will provide interaction opportunities for students and teachers, between Indian and French schools. In addition to the exposure to start-up culture and development of the Innovation mindset, school students and teachers will get to interact and collaborate with French schools and students for technical and cultural interactions.
The Top teams of SEP 3.0 will be shortlisted through the ATL Marathon i.e. a nationwide contest to identify community issues and to create grassroot solutions and innovations within their ATL lab.
