Overview
IIMC(Indian Institute of Mass Communication) is an autonomous society under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Considered an Indian media centre of learning, IIMC is funded and promoted by the Government of India in New Delhi. Applicants looking for admission in PG Diploma Course in Journalism (Hindi & English), Radio and TV Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations and in Journalism (Odia/ Urdu/ Marathi/ Malayalam) need to appear for IIMC Entrance Exam.
AboutConducting Body: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication held the IIMC Entrance Exam for applicants seeking admission to various Journalism and Mass Communication courses provide at the various institutes of IIMC. IIMC conducts the entrance exam annually.

Selection Procedure: The selection procedure consists in given sections:

Written Test.

Group Discussion.
-
Personal Interview.
Exam Pattern: The total time duration of the test is 2 hours. The test is of University level and is held in Offline mode. The total no. of questions are 100 in this test. There is no set pattern for IIMC entrance exam.

Group Discussion/ Personal Interview:

The written test is followed by a round of GD/PI. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the written examinations and then they are called for this round which contains a Group Discussion and then a Personal Interview round.

Applicants applying under NRI/ NRI sponsored seats category do not appear for written test but they must appear and clear GD/ PI round.
