Overview
CUCET is a University level entrance exam which is regulated by Ten Central Universities jointly. CUCET stands for Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test which is conducted Online. The exam is mandatory for admission to various Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses offered by the university in streams like Management and Engineering. CUCET exam also offers scholarships for all its UG and PG programs.
Chandigarh University offers up to 100% scholarships for candidates to study in futuristic courses of their choice at North India’s Central Educational Hub through CUCET Exam. The amount of scholarship is based on merit. The merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates in CUCET (60% weightage) as well as Graduation/ Class 12th (40% weightage) exam.

Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligibility for UG courses:
Candidates must have secured 50% in class 12th from a recognized Board (PSEB/CBSE/ /ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board).
Candidates appearing for class 12th in the current year are also eligible to apply for the CUCET.
- Eligibility for PG courses:
Candidates must have secured 50% in their graduation from a recognized University / Institute.
Candidates must have passed their graduation from the UGC recognized University.
- Eligibility for PhD courses:
The candidate must have a minimum of 55 % for General and 50% for SC/ST.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree for a recognized university/ institute to apply for admission in research programs.

Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Exam Pattern:
The exam is conducted in the Offline mode. The total time duration of the test is 02 hours. The total no. of questions are 100 which is divided into 2 parts i.e. Part A (25 questions) and Part B (75 questions). There is a provision of negative marking for the wrong answers. Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Admit Card
The admit cards for the entrance exam are issued in online mode and the candidates can download it from the official website. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
