The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) is a national level engineering entrance examination organized by IIT Kharagpur. It is organized to select candidates for admissions into Masters courses of Engineering in IIT's/NIT's/government universities/government colleges, or to get succesfull selection in PSU's on the basis of GATE score.
