Under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India was setup on 1/July/1949. It is a statutory body under the Chartered Accountants Act 1949. ICAI organizes a CA exam throughout a chartered accountancy course. It consists of three levels i.e. Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. Candidates who pass the three levels of CA exam are certified as Chartered Accountants.

• The question paper consists of elective subjects from 6A to 6F having five case study of 25 maarks each. Candidate has to attempt any four.

• Each case study question having MCQ’s of 10 marks and Descriptive of 15 marks.

The application form can be filled in Online mode only. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.
