Overview
IPU CET is also known as Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test is a National level entrance exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU/ IPU/ IP) for admissions to various programs offered by the University. The exam is conducted annually and in offline mode. The following mentioned detail is regarding B.Tech in Biotechnology course since all B.Tech admissions except BioT happen through JEE Mains.
Conducting Body: Located in Delhi, India and established in 1998 by Govt. of Delhi, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is a teaching cum affiliating university. The university has been graded 'A' by the NAAC and is recognized by University Grants Commission under section 12B of the UGC Act. IPU is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities, Medical Council of India, Association of Commonwealth Universities and Distance education council.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in IPU CET for candidates to qualify for admission:

Objective Test
Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted in Offline mode and contains MCQ type questions. The time duration of the examination is two hours and thirty minutes. The question paper is based on the English Language only. The question paper comprises of 4 sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. The total no. of questions are 150. IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) Application Process
The application form can be filled in Online mode. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password.

Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.

IPU CET (Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) Admit Card
Candidates can download the admit card from the official website which is released 5 days before the exam by the University. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
