Overview
Karnataka Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is also known as Karnataka PGECET is a state-level entrance exam administered by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for candidates wishing to Post Graduate in various regular PG courses such as M.Tech, M.Arch, ME, MBA, etc. offered by various Government and Private colleges across the state of Karnataka. The entrance test is conducted once a year.
Conducting Body: Karnataka Examination Authority or KEA conducts Karnataka Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test which is a state-level entrance exam for candidates desirous to continue their Masters in Karnataka state. The entrance test is conducted in Online mode.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in Karnataka PGECET for candidates to qualify for admission:

Written Test
Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted in Offline mode and contains MCQ type questions. The total time duration of the examination is one hour 30 minutes. The question paper is set in the English Language only. The total no. of questions varies as per the program for which the exam is conducted. The total marks are 100.
For M.Tech:- There are two types in this test- Type A and Type B and the exam is conducted in different sessions for both the parts.

Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) Application Process
The application form can be filled in Online mode. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password.

Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.

Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) Admit Card
The admit card will be released from 27/07/2020. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
