Conducting Body: MET also known as Manipal Entrance Test is a National level entrance exam conducted by Manipal   Academy of Higher Education for admissions in various programs offered by the University. The exam is conducted annually and in online mode. The following mentioned detail  is regarding B.Tech course.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in MET for candidates to qualify for admission:

• Objective Test

Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted in Online and contain MCQ type questions. The time duration of the examination is two hours and thirty minutes. The question paper is based on the English Language only. The question paper comprises of 4 sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English & General Aptitude. The total no. of questions are 200. The following table explains the paper pattern in detail:

Note:- Plus 4 marks are awarded for each right answer and 1 mark from the total allotted mark gets deducted for each wrong answer.

Manipal Entrance Test (MET) Application Process

The application form can be filled in Online mode. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website which is released after 24 hours of booking the schedule through the online booking system. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
