Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology(SRM Institute of Science and Technology) is a private deemed university located in Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu, India. The institute was founded as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur in 1985 under the University of Madras. There are six campuses of SRM Institute of Science and Technology out of which three are in Tamil Nadu - Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani, one is in NCR Delhi, one in Sikkim and one in Amaravati.

Conducting Body: SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE) is held by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) for admissions to the various B.Tech courses at its campuses. The exam is held annually and in Online mode.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in SRMJEE for candidates:

• Written Test

Exam Pattern: The examination is held Online mode and contain MCQ type questions. The total time duration is two and a half hours. The aspirants of B.Tech (Bio-Technology) write the Biology section instead of the Mathematics section.

Note:- There is no provision of negative marking.

The application form can be filled in Online mode. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website. Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form:

• Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

• Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

• Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password. 

• Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

• Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.
