Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, is a state level test organized to give admission to various professional courses offered in many Universities and Private Engineering, Medical & Agriculture institutions in Telangana. It is administered by JNTU Hyderabad.

The examination is conducted in Online mode and contains MCQ type questions. The question paper is set in English and Telugu Language. The paper is divided into 3 sections namely Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The total no. of questions are 160. The time limit of the examination is 03 hours. The exam pattern in detail is as  follows: 

- Note:- There is no provision of Negative Marking.

- Age Limit:-

• No upper age limit but lower age limit vary as per the applied course. Candidates are advised to refer to the website regarding the same.

• The lower age limit for the B.Tech course is 16 years.

- Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subjects.

• Candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 (40% for Reserved category) taken together.

• Candidates appearing in the 12th exam are also eligible to apply.

- Domicile:

• Only candidates having a Domicile certificate of Telangana are eligible to apply.  The requirements of Non - Local/Local status is laid down by regulations of Admission in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.

- Nationality:

• Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

• OCI/PIO cardholders are also eligible to apply for the test.
