IISER PhD Entrance Exam Pattern: The recruitment is conducted in offline mode. The candidates get shortlisted on the basis of their score in UGC NET/ GATE/ CSIR NET/ ICMR. After getting shortlisted, the selected candidates are invited for the Interview round which is held at IISER, Mohali. The selected candidates for the interview are three times to the posts. Candidates, after qualifying interview, get invited for the Medical Test and Document Verification round which is also held at Mohali campus.

Age limit: The upper age limit is 28 years. For Reserved Category, the relaxation is given as per govt. rules and regulations.

Educational Qualification: Candidates having minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Postgraduate in Science (any stream) from a recognized university are eligible to apply. The marks relaxation to Reserved Category is given as per govt. rules and regulations.
