National Institute of Fashion Technology also known as NIFT is a statutory body that provide degree programs in various disciplines of fashion and conducts the NIFT Entrance Exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs offered by it. Having its headquarters in New Delhi, NIFT is considered to be a pioneer in Fashion Education.
Conducting Body: The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts the NIFT Entrance Exam every year for aspiring candidates who wish to pursue their career in Fashion industry. The following mentioned detail is regarding Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech) program.

Selection Procedure:- The selection procedure consists of the following section:
- General Ability Test (GAT)
Exam Pattern: General Ability Test (GAT):
- The total time duration of the test is 3 hours. The test is conducted in Offline mode. The test comprises of 5 sections namely - Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability & English Comprehension, Analytical Ability & Logical Ability, Case Study & General Knowledge and Current Affairs.The language of the test is English only. Total no. of questions are 150 in this test.
