Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test, a national level test and also known as AME CET, is conducted for granting admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses offered by some of the leading institutes of India and approved by Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India. Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test is a national level entrance exam administered by DGCA for candidates from across the nation desirous to study AME. The entrance test is conducted annually.
Conducting Body: DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India conducts Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test also known as AME CET which is a national level entrance exam for candidates desirous to study Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. The entrance test is conducted in both modes i.e. Online as well as Offline.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in AME CET for candidates to qualify for admission:

Written Test
Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted Online as well as Offline and contains MCQ type questions. The question paper is based on the English Language. The paper is divided into 6 sections namely Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English, Aptitude and General Awareness. The total no. of questions are 90. The time duration of the exam is 01 hour 30 minutes. The exam pattern in detail is as follows:

Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent with the Non-Medical stream. Or

AICTE approved Engineering Diploma course of 3 years Or

Any equivalent qualification in science with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.

Candidates possessing 3 years Diploma recognized by State/Central Government in any stream can appear in AME Entrance Exam.

The candidate who are eligible for admission to B. Tech. Courses are also eligible for the entrance test.
