The Bihar Public Service Commission was formed in 1st April 1949 after its separation from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, in accordance with sub-section (1) of section 261 of the Government of India Act, 1935, as adapted. The selection process of the BPSC exam is given below:

Bihar PSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Exam- Exam Pattern: 

Offline Exam: The exam is conducted in offline mode. The questions are objective type and the total time duration for the exam is 06 hours. The questions consist of General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, General English, Computer, Technical Knowledge Subjects, and Bihar History. The total no. of questions are 300 and each question carries 01 mark.

Bihar PSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Exam Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age limit: The age limit is 18 years to 37 years as per their class 10th. The age relaxation to the SC/ST/OBC candidates is given as per government rules.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates having minimum 50% marks in aggregate in a Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile from a recognized university/ institute are eligible to apply.
