The exam is held with an aim to hire eligible applicants for the post of Assistant Professor in any of the Govt University of Chhattisgarh State.The test is organized in two parts on the same day: Paper I and Paper II. Educational Qualifications:

Applicants should have a PG degree from recognized university/institute by UGC.

The candidate must have passed with 55% marks.

Applicants who have given or will be giving the qualifying Master’s Degree in final year exam, whose qualifying exam has been delayed or whose result is still expected are also qualified for the exam.

Applicants with a reserved category will be getting 5% relaxation.

Ans. The number of candidates passed (total slots or Eligibility for Assistant Professor) is equal to 6% of the applicants who appeared in both the papers. The total slots will be allotted to different sections as per the reservation policy of the Chhattisgarh Government.

Ans. Candidates can download the CG SET Admit Card from the official website. No Physical Admit Card will be mailed to students by the post.

Ques 5. What is the size of my scanned photo, signature and other documents?
Ans: Candidates must upload a scanned photograph, signature, and caste/disability certificate if relevant in jpg/jpeg format only. The size of the photograph should be within 15 kb to 50 kb, Signature should be within 5 kb to 20 kb and certificates should be within 50kb to 200kb.

Ans: Applicants who belong to Reserved Category must have secured 50% Marks.

Ans. The original documents of victorious candidates will be checked for which dates will be revealed after the announcement of the result.

Ans. CutOffs are generated based on the scores secured by the applicants in CG SET, number of the applicants, number of the open vacancies and the toughness level of the exam. The cut-offs are uploaded category-wise on the official website.
