The Goa Teacher Eligibility Test is organized by the Government of Goa. It is a state level exam. Goa Teacher Eligibility Test Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be shortlisted from the score secured in the Goa TET 2019. The final list is prepared based on the category wise cut off marks.Multiple choice type questions are asked in the exam. Each question is for one mark and there is no negative marking. There are two papers in the exam i.e. Paper I and Paper II in which 150 questions are asked. Candidates have to complete the exam in 1 and a half hours.

Goa Teacher Eligibility Test Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
The candidates should pass the upper Secondary examination with at least 50 marks.
It is a relaxation of 45 marks if the applicants belong to a reserved class.
1.Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% score and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED)
OR
2.Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% result and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED).
OR
3. Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum 50% score and having a Diploma in Education (Special Education), approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India(RCI).

4. 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED) or Graduation.
Age Criteria: Applicants should be between 18 to 30 years.

Ques 1. What is the number of attempts I can appear for the exam?
Ans: There is no limitation on the number of trials a person can take to pass Goa TET. A person who has qualified Goa TET may also reappear for improving his/her score.
Ques 2. What is the valid period of the Goa TET passing certificate?
Ans: The valid period of the Goa TET qualifying certificate is seven years for all the categories.
Ques 3. What is the minimum score to qualify the exam?
Ans: Candidates need to score a minimum of 60% marks in Goa TET to qualify in the examination

Ans: Age limit to apply for Goa TET:

Ans: If you have 4 years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.ED) degree than you are eligible for Goa TET.

Ans: Yes you are eligible. The applicants who has Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary (or it's equivalent 10+2) with a minimum of 50% marks and has finished a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.ED) can apply.
Ques 8. If I clear Goa TET and still in my final year of Bachelor's Degree, am I eligible to apply?
Ans: Candidates who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor Degree in Education or Diploma in Elementary Education etc. are temporarily admitted and their Goa TET Certificate shall be confirmed only on passing the aforesaid Examinations.
