The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade hold its annual entrance examinations for admissions to its MBA (IB) course.
Conducting Body: IIFT is an independent public business school. It conducts an autonomous entrance examination across different centers in India.

Selection Procedure:-There are two stages in the selection procedure-
IIFT Written Test
IIFT selection procedure.
Exam Pattern:
IIFT Written Test- The applicants will have to write the written test in the first week of December which will be a shortlisting round. The written test will consist of questions in the objective form. The total duration is 2 hours and the number of questions ranges from 120-125 each year. There are questions related to the following topics. The written examination is held in the offline mode and will consist of questions from the following six sections:-
Reading Comprehension
Verbal Ability
Quantitative Aptitude
Logical Reasoning
Data Interpretation
General Knowledge
Note:- The total number of questions keeps on varying every year. The total time duration is 2 hours. Each question carries -.75 or 1 mark. It is a provision of negative marking and -1/3 marks deducted.
IIFT selection procedure (Essay Writing, Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI)):- The shortlisted applicants will have to write an essay examination in the first step. After this, the applicants have the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview .
Final Selection:- The applicants whose name will feature in the list of qualified candidates shall be called for the next round of the selection procedure. This round will consist of a Written Test, Essay Writing, Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview.
The weightage given to each round is according to the following table:-

Note:- For the interview round, 2% will be awarded to gender diversity. For a male candidate, the interview round will carry 18% weightage.

Age Limit:- There is no age limit.
Educational Qualification:- Graduation degree of a minimum three years duration or equivalent with 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD) aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA score.
