Indian Army Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer) Selection Procedure:

There are two stages through which the candidates need to go through. The first stage is Screening and the second is a written test.

  • Screening:- The candidates go through screening after which they are issued the admit cards for the written examination. The Screening process includes the checking of the original certificate, a physical fitness test and followed by a medical examination at the respective headquarters Recruiting Zone.

  • Written TestThe written test is different for different streams. The exam paper contains two separate parts.

Indian Army Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer) Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Limit:- 20 to 25 years. For Serving Combatants on Remuneration, the age limit is 28 years.

  • Educational Qualification:-  10+2 and Graduation with mathematics subject or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.

  • Medical StandardsThe candidate needs to possess the following medical standards:-

  • Robust Physique and stable mental health

  • Well developed chest with 5 cm minimum expansion

  • Normal hearing with each ear

  • Natural number of teeth i.e., 14 dental points with healthy gums.

  • Should have no deformity of bones, hydrocele, piles or varicose veins.

  • Remusteration candidates are exempted from recruiting medical examination at the time of recruiting rally.

  • The Remusteration candidates must be in the medical category SHAPE-1
