The Punjab Public Service Commission was formed in February, 1948, at Shimla with its revised jurisdiction extending over the then province of east Punjab. following the merger of the states of Punjab and PEPSU, it shifted to Patiala on Nov.1 st,1956.   • Age limit: The age limit is 21 years to 37 years as per their class 10th. The age relaxation to the SC/ST/OBC candidates is given as per government rules.
