SBI PO Exam Pattern:
Preliminary Examination:- The Preliminary Exam is an objective type examination consisting of 3 sections- English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The duration of the examination is of 60 minutes (1 hour).

Mains Exam:- Only those candidates who qualify the preliminary examination can write this exam. The Mains Examination is an Online examination. SBI PO Mains Exam consists of 4 sections of Objective type questions and 1 section of Descriptive type questions.

Final Selection:- The final selection of the candidate depends on the cumulative scores obtained in the Mains and in the GE & Interview process by the candidate. The weightage of both these sections of the Examination is in the ratio of 75:25 respectively.

The exam is held in online mode i.e.applicants are alloted a desktop in which they are supposed to type their answers.

To complete Descriptive paper candidates are given 30 minutes.

There are a total of 2 questions i.e Letter writing and Essay Writing.

Each question is of 25 marks.

Descriptive Test is checked only after the candidate clears the Objective test.
