SEBI Officer Grade A Exam Selection Procedure:
The SEBI Officer Grade A Selection Procedure consists of three main stages:-

SEBI Officer Grade A Exam- Exam Pattern:
Phase 1: The Phase 1 Online Screening is an Objective type examination consisting of 4 sections.- English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness and Awareness about Securities Market. The duration of the examination is 120 minutes (2 hours). The paper is of Multiple Choice Questions type having 200 questions. Candidates must secure minimum 40% marks in each subject to qualify for Phase 2 paper.

Phase 2 (Online examination): The Phase 2 examination consist of three sections of total 300 marks. Please go through the followingtable for further details:-

Note: The qualifying mark in each section is 40%. The mode of instructions of the examination is in Hindi and English languages.
Interview:- Candidates who qualify the Phase-2 examination get shortlisted for interview.
Final Selection:- The final selection of the candidate depends on the cumulative scores obtained in the Phase 2 and interview process by the candidate. The weightage of both these sections of the examination is in the ratio of 85:15 respectively.
Pre Examination Training:
For those candidates who wish to appear in SEBI exam but does not have the resources, SEBI conducts the Pre Exam Training free of cost at their centres at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. The training is for reserved category only i.e. SC, ST and PwBD.
