The Srishti Entrance and Aptitude Test, also known as SEAT, is conducted by the Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology. It is a university level examination and is held once in a year for admission of candidates in the Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology for various Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses. SEAT is conducted in Offline mode.

Selection Procedure: Following are the stages in SEAT for candidates to qualify for admission:

  • Portfolio Review & Counselling

Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted in Offline mode and the total time duration of the examination is 03 hours. The general topics for the test are:

  • Visualisation & Imagination

  • Domain Literacy

  • Analytical Reasoning

  • Contextual Awareness

  • Observation & Curiosity

  • Language & Expression

Applicants having All India Rank 1000 or below in the UCEED exam are exempted from this test.

Applicants having 1100 or above composite scores in SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) are exempted from this test.

Studio Based Activity Test.

Applicants having All India Rank 600 or below in the UCEED exam are exempted from this test.

Note:- 

- For TEST 2:

  • Candidates are tested on a given context/theme which is sent to the candidates after verifying their eligibility and other documents.

  • Applicants are asked to mail hard copies of completed forms along with necessary annexures/attachments at the earliest giving them time for test preparation. 

- For TEST 3:

  • The counselling session is conducted in Conversational style.

Eligibility:

- Age Limit:-

  • There is no age limit to appear for the SEAT. But the average age is 18 to 25 years of the class at Srishti so candidates belonging to 30 years or above age category are advised to keep this in mind while applying for the test.

- Educational Qualification:-

- Candidates who have completed their following qualifying exam from the mentioned Board/Institute.

  • A-Level from National/International Boards such as CBSE/ISC/AICE/IB

  • Senior Secondary from State Boards/Junior Colleges/NIOS

  • Level IV Certification NSQF.

  • Diploma from State Board of Technical Education

  • High School Diploma from USA/Canada.

  • Ability to Imagine, Visualise and Represent the idea based on the given medium.

 Contextual Awareness:

  • Ability to reflect on the Social, Political, Environmental, Economical and Cultural factor

  • The implication of the mentioned factors on Art and Design.

  • Ability to Observe, Explore and Enquire

  • Emphasizing Details and Using multiple ways of seeing.

- Analytical Reasoning:

  • Ability to review Information

  • Ability to Analyse, Reason, Infer and Predict.
