- Nationality:

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen or subject of Nepal/Bhutan. Also, the Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 for permanently residing is eligible.

Note: People migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam for permanently residing are eligible to apply for SSC CGL Exam 2021.

SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Selection Procedure:

The SSC CGL examination has been divided into four stages i.e. Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4.

Tier-I: Computer Based Examination
Tier-II: Computer Based Examination
Tier-III: Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
Tier-IV: Computer Proficiency Test/ Data Entry Skill Test (wherever applicable)

Note:

Candidates who qualify Tier 1 are eligible to appear for Tier 2.
Candidates qualifying Tier 2 are eligible to appear for both Tier 3 and Tier 4.
Tier 4 is of qualifying nature
Final Merit List is decided on the basis of the cumulative marks of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3.

There will be Objective Type, Multiple choice questions in both Tier 1 and Tier 2.
The egative marking of .50 marks will be there in Tier 1
In Tier 2, the Negative marking of .50 marks will be for Paper-I, Paper-III, and Paper-IV and the Negative marking of .25 marks will be for Paper-II (English Language and Comprehension).

-Tier-III Examination:
