The European Language Certificates are one of the International standardized tests of Ten different languages. The European Language Certificates (TELC) Selection Procedure: The test is divided into six parts:

The CEFR levels A1 and A2 denote elementary language skills

Candidates at levels B1 and B2 are increasingly comfortable with the foreign language and are able to interact without significant assistance

Candidates at levels C1 and C2 have achieved full language proficiency.
The European Language Certificates (TELC) Exam Pattern:
The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The total time duration of the exam is about 03 hours. The oral exam usually takes place straight after the written exam, without any preparation time.

Each Oral exam takes place between two candidates and for each exam, there are two examiners. The main task of the examiner is to supervise the conversation.

The Oral exam's duration is 15 minutes for two candidates and 25 minutes for three candidates.

The Oral exam comprises of three types of tasks:
1. Presentation: Candidates are given the option to choose from two subjects. The presentation should not be more than 90 seconds long and after the presentation, the candidates are asked to answer the questions of their partners.
2. Discussion: In the discussion that follows after the Presentation, candidates are expected to give their opinion on the concerned topic. Candidates are asked to have a discussion in a way that their point of view is expressed properly and arguments must be exchanged between the candidates.
3. Task: In this part of the exam candidates are given a task to carry out. They are asked to express their opinion, suggestions and respond to each question asked by their partner.
