Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is a national level test and also known as UPSEE, is conducted for admissions into Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses offered at University & affiliated Institutes/Colleges. Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is a national level entrance exam administered by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University for candidates desirous to continue their study at AKTU affiliated Institutes/Colleges. The entrance test is conducted annually. Log on to the official website to apply online or to check other important details.

Note: As per the AKTU latest guidelines, the UPSEE exam from the year 2021 has been scrapped for B.Tech admissions.  Now JEE Main score will be required to get Admissions into B.Tech programs

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) Selection Procedure:

There is only one stage in UPSEE for candidates to qualify for admission:

  • Written Test

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) Exam Pattern:

 The examination is conducted  Offline and contains MCQ type questions. The question paper is set in English and Hindi Languages. The paper is divided into 3 sections namely PhysicsMathematics/Biology, and Chemistry. The total no. of questions are 150. The time duration of the exam is 03 hours. The exam pattern in detail is  as follows:

Ques 1. From where can a candidate get the information regarding the UPSEE?

Ans. Candidates can get the information from the official website of Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).

Ques 2. How can a candidate apply for UPSEE?

Ans. Candidates can apply Online for the entrance test after completing the registration process.

Ques 3. Does an aspirant have to mail the application form?

Ans. No, there is no such provision. Aspirants must take a print out of the filled application form for future reference.

Ques 4. What are the modes of fee payment?

Ans. Application payment can be made in online mode through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card.

Ques 5. Is there a provision of fee exemption?

Ans. No. There is no such provision.

Ques 6. What other documents are needed while filling the application form?

Ans. Following are the documents:

  • Photograph - Size should be between 4 kb to 100 kb and in JPEG format.

  • Signature - Size should be between 1 kb to 40 kb and in JPEG format.
