Overview
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is an Institute of Eminence and private deemed to be university-based in Tamil Nadu, India. Established in 1994 this institute is considered one of the youngest institutes to be deemed a university. Conducting Body: The Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The institute oversees admissions to various engineering courses offered by the University and conducts AEEE annually. Admission to B.Tech programmes offered at Amrita Schools of Engineering - Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Chennai, Amaravati.

Selection Procedure: There is only one stage in AEEE for candidates to qualify for admission:

Objective Test
Exam Pattern: The examination is conducted in both modes i.e. Online mode as well as Offline mode and contains Objective Type questions. The question paper comprises three sections namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section is of 90 marks. The total time duration of the examination is 02 hours and 30 minutes. The following table explains the paper pattern in detail:-

Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) Application Process
The application form can be filled in both modes: Online as well as in Offline mode. Candidates desirous to apply for the test can apply in Online mode from the official website or can get the form from the institute's office to apply in offline mode.
Following are the steps to apply that must be followed while filling the form in online mode:

Registration: Candidates are required to visit the website and register themselves for the test. In this process, some basic information is asked. After providing these pieces of information candidates must click on the Register button.

Verification: Once the registration button is clicked, an email is sent on the provided i.d to verify. The registration process is completed only after verification.

Application Form Filling: After verification, Candidates can fill the application form through their provided LoginI.d and Password.

Uploading Documents: In this step, candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies of their documents. The candidates must submit all the required documents.

Payment of application fee: The last step is the payment and to apply successfully candidates must make the payment.
In Offline mode, the candidates can get the form through the following ways:

Sale Outlets: From the sale outlets through Post Office, Federal Bank, and Dhanlakshmi Bank by paying Rs. 1000.

University Counter: From the university counter on producing the DD of Rs. 1000.

Post: By sending a post on a written request with a DD of Rs. 1000.
