It is administered by JNTU Kakinada.

The examination is conducted in Online mode and contains MCQ type questions. The question paper is set in English and Telugu/Urdu Language. The paper is divided into 3 sections namely Physics, Mathematics/Biology, and Chemistry. The total no. of questions are 160. The time limit of examination is 03 hours. The exam pattern in detail is as  follows:

- Age Limit:-

• No upper age limit but lower age limit vary as per the applied course. Candidates are advised to refer to the website regarding the same.

- Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent with Chemistry and Physics along with Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects.

• Candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 (40% for Reserved category) taken together.

• Candidates appearing in the 12th exams are also eligible to apply.

- Domicile:

• Candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh must possess a Domicile certificate.  The requirements of Non - Local/Local status is laid down by regulations of Admission in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.

- Nationality:

• Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

• OCI/PIO cardholders are also eligible to apply for the test.
