Overview
Central Universities Common Entrance Test, a national level test and also known as CUCET, is conducted for admissions into Integrated, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. courses offered at all participating Central universities. The entrance test is conducted jointly for admission into 14 Central Universities and Dr. B R Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE). The entrance test is conducted annually. Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Conducting Body:
CUCET is the National Level/ University Level exam and is conducted by the National Testing Agency. The exam is conducted in Online mode and is a national level entrance exam for Integrated, UG, PG & P.hD programs. The entrance test is conducted in Offline mode. There is only one stage in CUCET for candidates to qualify for admission:

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Exam Pattern:
The examination is conducted in Offline mode and contains MCQ type questions. The total time duration of the examination is two hours. The question paper is set in the English Language only. The total no. of questions are 100. The following table explains the paper pattern in detail:

Note:- There is a provision of Negative Marking. 0.25 marks from the total allotted mark to each question gets deducted for each wrong answer.

Ques 14. Can a candidate apply to more than one university?
Ans. Candidates can choose to apply for a maximum of any 3 participating Central Universities at a time. Application payment must be made again to apply to more than 03 universities.
