The Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR) hold the AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) annually. The exam is conducted for admissions in graduation prgrammes offered in Agricultural stream by various Universities of India.
ICAR is an independent body accountable for co-ordinating agricultural research and education in India.

Selection Procedure :
Applicants’ selection would depend upon their performance in the entrance exam however they need to attend the counselling procedure on the prescribed date and time. Based on candidates' performance in ICAR AIEEA, merit list will be prepared and according to their rank, they will be called for counselling.
For UG Courses:
Exam Pattern: The exam is held in an offline way. The total time duration will be 2 and a half hours. The examination is held separately for the two streams. Stream-A is for the applicants who have opted for Biology/Agriculture and Stream-B is for those who have opted for Mathematics. There are 180 objective type questions with a total time duration of 150 minutes. The examination pattern is given:
