Overview
Indian Coast Guard is conducting a recruitment exam to recruit meritorious unmarried male candidates for the post of Assistant Commandant in General Duty, Pilot, Commercial Pilot Licence(SSA). This is a great opportunity for interested Candidates who want to join the Indian coast guard to apply for the ICG AC exam. All BE/Btech, B.Sc passed are eligible for appearing in the ICG AC entrance exam. Candidates have to apply online for this exam on the official website. Candidates who qualify Written Examination will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and 2 days are taken for the testing procedure. Those candidates, who are Physically Challenged, are not eligible to apply for this examination.
Conducting Body: The Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Test (ICGACT) is a National level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defense) in Offline mode. The candidates who wish to appear and enter for Coast Guard will have to qualify Offline Written-test then SSB Test. The exam is conducted Once a year.

Selection Procedure: The selection process of the ICG AC Exam is based on given following rounds:

OMR sheet based offline exam.

Final Selection Test – SSB interview.

CPSS(Pilot test) – Only for those who applied for Pilot.

Medical test.

The selection of the candidates purely depends on performance in the Written Test, SSB, and Fitness in the Medical Examination.
Exam pattern: The written examination is OMR based Objective type. All the questions are form subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning, etc. The language mode of questions are Hindi and English. There is no provision of negative marking for the wrong answer.

SSB Interview: After qualifying the written test, the candidates are invited for the GD & Interview. After qualifying the Written and SSB Interview, the candidate has to go through a Medical Examination.

Age Criteria: Must be between 25 to 30 yrs old as per their class 10th. Age relaxation to SC/ST and OBC candidates is as per Government rules.
