Punjab Police was formed in 1861 after the annexation of Punjab by Britishers. It organizes the examinations/interviews for appointments to Group ‘C and D’ services in Police. Punjab Police (PP) is organizing a Sub Inspector exam to recruit dynamic candidates in the Police department of Punjab. Punjab Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Conducting Body:
The SI exam is a state level exam conducted by the Punjab Police. The exam is conducted in online mode and the candidates who wish to appear for PP must qualify the online exam. Candidates who qualify online exam will be called for Physical test. The exam is conducted once in two years.

Punjab Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Selection Procedure:
The selection process of the Sub Inspector exam is given below:

• Physical Test (qualifying in nature)

Punjab Police Sub Inspector Recruitment Exam Pattern:
The exam is conducted in online mode. There are two Papers i.e. Paper I and II. The questions are objective type and the total time duration for the exam is 02 hours for each paper. The questions consist of General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, General English, Computer, Environment, and Punjab GK. The total number of questions is 100 and each question carries 4 marks.
