This Teaching exam is organized by the Staff Selection Board (SSB), Silvasa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The purpose of this exam is to hire young and eligible professionals for the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) and Assistant Teacher. SSB Teacher Exam Pattern: 

Online Exam: The exam is conducted in online mode. The questions are objective type and the total time duration for the exam is 50 minutes. The total no. of questions are 80.

Note: There is a negative marking. 0.25 marks from the total allotted marks to each question gets deducted for the wrong answer.

Interview: The candidates, after qualifying the Written Test, get invited for the Interview round. This test is only qualifying in nature.

• Age limit: The age limit is 18 years to 30 years as per their class 10th. The age relaxation to the SC/ST/OBC candidates is given as per government rules.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates having minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation/ Postgraduation with B.Ed from a recognized university/ institute are eligible to apply.

The SSB releases the admit cards for the exam in Online mode. The link of the admit cards are sent to the registered emails and mobile numbers of the candidates. The admit card is a mandatory document for the test and the candidate must carry it to the exam center along with an I.D proof such as Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card.
