Indian Coast Guard Navik is organizing this exam to hire commendable unmarried male aspirants for the post of Navik (general duty). This exam offers a nice opportunity for eligible and desiring applicants who want to join the Indian coast guard. All 10+2 (Math's & Physics) passed applicants are suitable to appear in the exam. Applicants can apply for the exam in online mode through the official website. Candidates who qualify the written examination will undergo the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and 2 days will be taken for the testing procedure. Physically challenged aspirants are not suitable to apply for this examination.

The Indian Coast Guard Navik Test (ICGNT) is a National level entrance exam organized by the Indian Coast Guard (Ministry of Defense). The exam is an offline/written based (OMR) test. Aspirants eager to appear and enter for coast guard are required to qualify the Offline Written test then Physical Fitness Test. The exam is held once in a year.

Indian Coast Guard Navik Test (ICGNT) Selection Procedure: The selection process of the ICGN Exam is based on given following rounds:

OMR sheet based offline exam.

The selection of applicants purely depends on merit depending on performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examination.
Indian Coast Guard Navik Test (ICGNT) Exam Pattern: The written examination will be OMR based Objective type. All the questions will be from the 12th standard which generally covers subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning, etc.The language mode of questions will be Hindi and English. There will be no -ve marking for the wrong answer.
Physical Fitness Test: The steps are given below:

1.6 Km run completed in 7 minutes.

20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak).

10 Push-ups.
After qualifying the Written and the PFT, the applicants have to go through a Medical Examination.

Age Criteria: Must be between 18 to 22 yrs old as per their class 10th. Age relaxation to SC/ST and OBC applicants is as per government rules.
